Car looks great man.. I think I will stick to painting it in house lol.. A good paint job is all in the prep...

And like klutch said, gotta hit up some of the meets.

My boy, who is on here, got a Maaco job and going around the car and taking off the bumper, I could tell they sucked big fat rhinoceros dicks at painting. Orange peel and overspray everywhere

It had to do with being so close to the paint and removing the bumper; just somethings I wouldn't like to have done to my car. If I was going to take it to Maaco, I would probably take certain things off and mask some other stuff off my self - mainly taking the front bumper off and masking the door frames and sunroof

Sorry to break it too you, but give it a year, and itll start to peel... I went maaco too and spent 350 on mine. they sprayed over my f***ing license plate and so after they resprayed over everything TWICE because of peeling and s***. Its now 2 years later, always hand washed, paid 450 total ( i hate their warraty policy) and now its starting to peel AGAIN. And I can see my old paint below it that doesnt look like anything has happened to it.

All i can say to make you paint last is Never use rough water like a power sprayer or even a powerful hose. Always hand wash it and clay bar and wax it a lot!! Good luck my friend. Btw im in colorado too and went to the one in aurora i think. Maybe westminister haha i dont remember.
you serious? who does that?? well apparently them, but you know what I mean, dang..

it goes along with you get what you pay for if you go to a big name body shop your gonna pay more but your also gonna get better work last paint job i had priced with sand blasting done was about 1800 dollars. but i have seen some nice maaco paint jobs that last just do the prep work yourself like OG said

Ya like people said unless its already done I would highly highly recommend not getting a Maaco job. I let them do my truck and they didn't prime it, they didn't paint the part of the fender behind my bumper (cuz its a truck) and they painted over stuff that shouldn't be like my licence plate light. Ya jus a dumb move on my part! Lol but Ive heard people have great experiences too. Btw nice car! Can't wait to see what comes of it :)
