Oh man you're in the exact same seat as me except one year off. Check out my build thread I painted first and I am focusing on interior right now but mine is a 96 SE. Whatdo you think of our wheels?
tight, man.

i really like our wheels, they're definitely better than most stock wheels. I'll probably keep them for a while, but i might end up putting some different ones on later. who knows, there's so much i want to do to this car to make it look awesome.

Same here. I'm really lookin for that clean ook outside nice "pussy wet" interior inside haha. OG convince me to keepthe wheels even though I wanted to go with 16s so I'm just gonna polich them. But if you do anything with your wheels definitely let me knw I wanna see how it turns out.
I subscribed so I'm up to date :D

Lucky mofo steal.

In my opinion, paint the car according to the interior.
Paint that looks good with Tan.
Black, Green, Red, Grey, Silver.

well, base coat and clear coats are getting sprayed down today!

then only light sanding/buffing remains, then this paint job will be complete! next weekend i will be replacing the windshield and getting the windows tinted, and my teg will finally be acceptable, haha.

couldn't be more excited. plenty of pics will be posted this week.

My dad's the one doing the actual spraying. He had a lot of experience, whereas I have none, haha.

Paint job complete

I have gotten quite a bit accomplished on my teg in the last 2 weeks!

ALL COMMENTS AND CRITICISM WELCOME!! (and compliments too, hopefully) 8)

1st thing:

PAINT JOB COMPLETE! after 3 long months of sanding, dent filling, priming, sanding, painting, and more sanding, my dad and I have finally finished the paint job. Ended up costing us about $550. While, it's not a professional job, you can still see imperfections here and there, it was definitely worth it. Very glad to be finished with it though, it was definitely a pain.

still a little bit of texture left....

I installed a wink mirror

rear wiper delete

antennae delete

new head unit and new speakers. subs and amp to be installed later this week.

new floor mats. new seats will have to wait for now. ran out of money....

-new rims
-new seats
-clear corner signals
-HID headlight swap

and later on...
-cold air intake
-header
-exhaust.

you know...the basics.

Good work so far man. Looks like a pretty decent paint job. If you really want a clean interior look for a black interior and swap it in. Dash, carpet, etc aren't that tough and black interior is clean.

Yeah I have two tegs and I couldn't stand the tan interior so I did a full swap to all black interior. Granted i didn't have to buy anything but you can pick up a black dash for like 150 bucks. Everything is cheap. I'd say do that instead of buying new tan seats, etc. Just my 2 cents.
