Did more body work today!

Filled in some more dents today! The entire driver's side of the car was covered in small door dings and it had a few medium sized dents. Sanded, body-filled, sanded again, and covered with some primer.

About to start stripping the car down and priming next weekend! Will post pics. :woot:

Finally, I found the pics I was gonna show you... The reason as to why you dont use bondo on your hood

now, it wouldnt be a problem to use bondo on your hood if you had hood dampeners, but those are like $100, $200.. your call

I'm liking the progress so far. Usually I would say no to paint, but it was looking a lil fugly on the top and the hood, plus for $500, if it comes out well done, you can't beat that. I would make a small suggestion; when you paint the front of the car, remove the front bumper. It's something you may take off a few times in your life and if you paint it together, it will marry the wheel liner, fender, and bumper. It will also get some paint on your markers and headlamps, typically. It's doesn't take too long to remove the front bumper and since you've been doing everything else so well, I figure you may take the time to do this. Some people may disagree with me, but it's something I noticed on my friend's car that was recently painted when I was removing the bumper to clean the lamps and markers

Priming is done!!

Well, the priming step of the paint job is completed!

Now, I just have to do a lot more sanding and a little more body work. The final paint job will probably be in a few weeks.

Oh man you're in the exact same seat as me except one year off. Check out my build thread I painted first and I am focusing on interior right now but mine is a 96 SE. Whatdo you think of our wheels?
