Honestly, I'd rather see someone in full matching leathers/helmet than the douche across the street from me.... Board shorts, tank top, flip flops, no helmet and ear buds in. Rides out first gear to redline and tries to pull wheelies (still in first gear) down traffic filled streets....

The Ruck guys bother the s*** out of me though.... 90% of them don't wear helmets and most of them are 150 swapped and can do 70+.... Meanwhile I'm here doing 45-50mph helmet and gloves on :lol:

Back in Nov. one dude wrecked a Metropolitan (Ruckus with bodywork) similar the the one in the pic, broke a few ribs and his collar bone and was only going like 20mph around a bend.

Hell, even when my ex wrecked on my bike she landed on her head (wearing my old Kali) and fractured her right knee... Thing could barely get to 40 back then.

I just realized why my mom took out a life insurance policy on me... I've been talking about getting another supersport and going cross country with it for the most part of this year :rolf:

She trusts me but she's super afraid of road bikes because every dumb hick knows someone who knows someone whose son died on a bike, Never mind how many years I rode nothing but my cbr every day. :lol:

All it takes is one dumb azz to run a red light, drive while intoxicated, not see you and run you off the road...etc.
So unfortunately, it has nothing to do with how good you can ride, there will be idiots in cages.
