Honestly I have no idea. I don't know much about motorcycles at all other than the layout of the brakes, clutch and shifting mechanism. Nothing crazy, probably just a cheap, older bike that insurance wouldn't kill me. I keep thinking of a ruckus, but want to be able to travel highway speeds since the way to my girlfriend's house is all country roads.

Honda's XR's are absoloutly indestructible & supermoto's are undeniably the most fun you can have on a bike.

The Grom is fucking tiny... Coming from me.

The seat on a Grom is about level with the seat on my scoot. Best bet if you want a dirt cheap, non-SM starter bike is a Ninja 250. They regularly go for around 1200 here for ones with like 4k miles.


Oh, and as for the Ruckus, highway speed thing.... GY6 swap. When we meet, a handful of guys ride the interstate to the meetup. That PY one at the top can do 75, the guy that built it (different person) has one that does over 80mph

Though, I should mention that a stock GY6 motor tops about 55-60mph.

I like them, I'm just too damn short for them, so I ride things I can flatfoot :lol:

The TW200 sits pretty low, throw on a set of street tires and do the hollow mod... :thumbup:
