Could've... But my engine is damn near brand new (~3k miles), along with most other parts on the bike, and as a whole, is almost exactly the way I want it.


"Almost" because I still want to swap the taillight and get CF headlight bezels.

It's just the gold wheels and windscreen that make it ugly.... Swap the windscreen for a Kick Ash one like I have and the wheels for a Piranha Black set and you're good.

It's still got red and gold shit on the plastics :lol: but I suppose if you really like the bike you could change the plastics too and have about 10k in it like someone I know did with an xb9 :lol:

You do know decals are able to be replaced, right? A certain someone with a 10k 9R did that a year ago... :lol: They still make all of the decals/emblems for the XB's, so you could swap all of those gold things off for black ones and have a similar look to the 07 9R

In hindsight, I would have went with the 2004 'Murica decals.... But I guess I was trying to restore the bike in the back of my mind :lol:
