You'd have to ask the guys with Uly's that have 80-90k on the original build.

If an RC can still be running fine with 130k on the clock as proven twice on the RC forums I'm sure the old buelly will last quite awhile too.

RC's also aren't an aircooled pushrod engine... :lol:


Look at how long an Evo-engine Sportster lasts and that's pretty much how the Buell will go, if not longer when properly maintained.

But the 07 is lighter than the xb9, and the inline twin sounds cool. It's probably a fun bike... even though a honda magna is faster :rolf:

You realize XB9's and 12's weigh exactly the same, right? Lightnings should weight less than Firebolts, but that's about it :lol:



The weight difference between an XB and FZ shouldn't be noticeable though. FZ has a taller seat height, longer wheelbase and more rake, besides having a regular tank. Meaning the weight up high rather than always in the middle like the Buell.


Plus the XB9 makes more HP/TQ.

We both know the xb is better, I was just trying to justify the fz :rolf:

I'd still take an XR for a lightweight bike, or an xb for a "fast" bike over a lame ass budget yamaha that'll probably slap the top of the cylinder before it hits 50k :lol:
