 I remember seeing that thing, there's like 2 or 3 different ones so you can sound like different types of bikes. I think I should get a V-Twin sounding one for the General Lee....

Mother f***ers coming around acting like they know more about bikes than me because they're 30 years older than me, Guys exact words: "I've been riding bikes since I was a kid, Always changed my own oil and kept the chain lubed and air filter clean" Ok, I've rebuilt my own race bikes for 3 1/2 years, Did basic maintenance and kept the valves in spec on my cbr for 30k~ miles, I've worked on cruisers, scooters, pitbikes, MX/dirt bikes, Sportbikes and I've raced on and off since I was 5, And your last bike was 26 years ago? Ok, I see.

Guy calls, Asks if I'll take 300 less than I was asking then proceeds to waste my time coming to look at it then basically says he's not interested because it looked better in the pics.

He also had to give me the sob story about how his wife doesn't want him getting a bike because they lost their son because he was going 90 on a back road and lost control on a super sport.

Just do your wife a favor buddy, Leave bikes behind, It sounds like your family has a bad history with them.

Preach on, brother Kurt

Sounds like the old guy knows his stuff.... Maintenance and not owning anything since the 80s. He's way beyond pro status, IMO.

Well obviously if he's been in the physical proximity of bikes for that long he knows what he's talking about. Motorcycles telepathically instill the knowledge to repair them in people who are within a 10 foot radius...duh. lol
I get that shit all the time. It's like being a technician and doing it for a living is irrelevant to some people. They think that they know more about it than you. Just gotta smile and keep on doing what you know is right. forget the idiots.

I do kinda feel bad for his wife though, She seemed nice, They were talking about how she had to go identify the body of their son, s***s bad but when you're riding like a dumbass you're asking for it.

Went to the track yesterday I guess it went well, I felt like I was landing jumps way more harsh than the last time I went. When I landed one jump my right side shroud fairing bolt fell out. Idk how lol. Other than that she's still running great after I left. Rode some of the trails and almost dropped it a couple times. Trails is hard stuff lol. Going up a steep rocky hill just hitting the gas hoping I don't fall cause if I do i'm screwed lol. than slamming the gas to get sideways and not hit the tree in front of me than swerving the other way not to hit another tree. I did a few things in that trail I never knew I could do lol. It's like when you're there and have no choice you just do it. Than they had a ATV drag strip had alittle fun on there with the dirtbike and practice some launching which was fun :D Now they're building a huge supercross type track next to the motocross track. Fun day i'm getting alot better. I want micro bleeders for the forks asap. I still havn't got the screws out the forks to release pressure i'm scared i'ma strip them cause I can't turn them lol

You'll get it down in no time, Even I'll probably suck the first 2-3 times I hit the track after so long.

.... -_____-

I sound like an arrogant toolbag when I talk about my riding abilities... Maybe I should shut up until I have video proof.
