 That reminds me, I need to get my General Lee back from my gf's house. I wanna get some white Skyways/blue tires for it eventually. I can't ever just be happy with something in stock form lol

I don't have any boots but I want some, The last lap I did last tuesday on the big ramp at the end when I landed my middle toe was like turned torwards my 2nd toe and started hurting worse and worse till I pulled it to the right and popped it back in place. Have no idea how that happens but boots mighta stopped that lol

Boots are awesome, At first it will seem impossible to shift but trust me it will become more natural once they start to soften up.

Why is nothing happening in this thread. I'm just waiting on parts to get here what about anyone else??

Edit: Oh comon, Had a order on motosport.com on the 3rd and every item I purchased said IN STOCK. Atm my order still hasn't shipped because waiting on inventory that was suppose to be in stock and says ships no later than the 11th. I needed that order asap... The order I didn't really need right now should be here tomorrow (amsoil), Don't remember what I ordered from ebay lol so must not be inportant, Another order placed on motosport yesterday night is suppose to ship today

I'm waiting on a tool to split the engine and waiting on this other bike to sell.

Although, I'll probably just take pics of the progress and post them all at once when the bike's finished.

The only things that ever really happen in this thread are me and Kurt might obsess about a few different bikes every so often, some youtube videos get posted up, and a few random pics might get posted of our own s***ty bikes

I'm too damn broke to do anything to the scoot, so no progress there.

Right after I buy my ktm 125 someone posts a 2008 kx250f for $1500. He says new air filter, fresh oil change, fork seals, chain is in good condition, starts 1st or 2nd kick everytime, rear tire 50% front tire 90% brakes are pretty new probably around 80% on brake pads. says moving out of state need it gone first 1500 takes it

That's usually what happens.... Didn't your KTM have really low hours though? Either way you made out with a decent bike :what:

Everything seems to be low hours. I just went out and started it up for the first time in a week after I took it to the track. Started right up first kick, runs good, vtec kicks hard! Jk but the power band pulls like a mofo and sounds amazing. I feel I got my moneys worth on the ktm. That kx is also a good deal though lol. How dirty can a air filter get before I need to clean it? I don't got any air filter oil but wanna ride. After the track other day there was alot of dirt in air box and about 50-70% of the filter has dirt all over it. The air box cover basically slides back and than you press down and it pops into place. Well once you put it on the side that pops into place doesn't seal very good. Like there's a little spec that's open and any dust and stuff that's where it's going through. I already cleaned out the inside of the air filter box though. Filter is just dirty.

Ktm's better, 4 strokes are really only worth it if you get a 450 imo, A proper top end rebuild for 4t's are between $800-$1500, Best thing about your ktm, 250 4t power with 2 stroke cost, I myself don't mind the rebuild costs as long as it's a 450 but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a 250.

Still a sweet price on that kx though.

On the filter, If it looks dirty it needs to be cleaned, It's best to clean them after every ride, You usually only need to oil it every 3-6 washes.
