Yeah, they're everywhere. There's one about 2-3mins from where I live, and Kurt bought his GoPro from them

Imo, unless you shop their clearance, they're a ripoff. If you want gear, I'd buy from Revzilla, but go and try it first at Cycle Gear to take the guess work out of sizing :thumbs up.

Someone teach me some about motocross bikes, I've been reading 2 cycle racing full synthetic is the best way to go on oil (Kinda obvious) And some of the good choices are Motul 800, Amsoil Dominator, or Maxima 927. Quart of Motul/Maxima is both $20 and Amsoil is $10 but I have to pay shipping because it's not sold local(Only amsoil isn't local). Any of you have experience with either? And only air filters I can buy local for my bike is NO-TOIL Fast 3 Pre-Oiled air filters which come in packs of 3 for $18. I feel like amsoil would be best choice to go on oil at half price but read mixed reviews good/bad

Wish I could help you on that, I only have experience with 4T's though. Kurt is gonna be your best friend when it comes to anything MX/SM related.

I thought he already was my best friend, Where is my best friend

Amsoil dominator looks the way to go though, $9 a quart with wholesale account (Which is $10 for 6 months) Example if I bought wholesale account, Bought 12 quarts at wholesale price (9) + 15$ shipping = $133. Motul/Maxima $20 a quart + tax is over $250 for 12 quarters

Correction: Amsoil wholesale price is $7.4/Quart

Like I know 2 strokes much better, Last one I rode for more than 5 minutes was a pw50 when I was 5.

Motul 800 all day, Most people recommend running 32:1 mixture ratio, I would say that's probably good because you wanna keep the crank bearings safe, I run 40:1 for a little more power but I'm a little sketchy on that sometimes.

I run UNI air filters.

If you wanna know your bike better get a service manual.

Yeah but I haven't ridden it yet, The guy that gave it to me said it last ran in 2000 or 2001.

Even though I obviously asked for advice on what oil you like and stuff i'm going to have to ignore it cause of price lol I'm going to get a case of amsoil and try it out since my brother has a dealer account and gets it cheap.

Amsoil is good stuff too, I just use motul.

Oh btw forgot to mention synthetic isn't safe when you're on a fresh top end, In your case the bike's already broken in so there's nothing to worry about but when you run it for the first few times after a top end you wanna run non synthetic premix.

Good info, the 04 ktm owners manual sucks, I was looking at a honda owners manual it tells you every bolt to rebuild a top end etc and the ktm has 0 info. only tells you basic maintence and that's it. Oh well I go fresh gear oil in it and all that. I'm going to clean or swap the air filter and change coolant and it should be ready to goto track, and get some gas mixed. The coolant in it is dirty I can tell from looking in the radiator lol

That's what the service manual is for, Google 04 ktm 125sx service manual and look around, There's always a free pdf file of the complete manual.

Get engine ice for the coolant and don't mix or put anything like water in it, It turns into gel when you mix it with stuff
