That was one complaint I had with the XR, 2nd and 3rd had a big speed jump so you could snap the throttle in 2nd and hold it up all the way to redline but you had to clutch up if you were in 3rd, It was possible to shift it and keep going but you had to keep the front up around a 55-60 degree angle or it would drop down.

Is clutching up bad for a dirt bike?

Not if you know how to do it I do a lot of clutchless shifting too and I've never had problems, The clutch in my old crf450r blew up and ruined the case but that was because I happen to buy the exact year model that was known for having clutch issues. :lol:

There's 3 within 300 miles, 2 are already street legal so they want $4000+ for them and the other is $2800, The $2800 one is nice but it won't still be around by the time the firebird is sold, I'm still just shy of having 3k and I'm probably about to fix the mustang.

I've just got my life and priorities all fucked up now 2 months ago I had everything perfectly organized and I could've bought it.

Clutch is fine, I was saying the clutchless stuff because a lot of people mess 1st and 2nd up clutchless shifting because they're torquey-er gears.

And because I clutchless shift on wheelies to drag it out longer.

It's a pain in the ass to learn, Took me a few weeks of riding in a college parking lot before I could do it, I only got asked to leave once. :lol:

Well I had a dirtbike so... :lol:

I never wrecked it though

I dropped it once in the rain though :rolf: Came flying up on a dead end and decided to be cool and slide sideways to turn around faster, Coming up about to be fully stopped but still carrying momentum, Rear tire hit a rock burried in the dirt and as the bike was going upright the little extra momentum caught me off guard and I just fell over :lmao:

Then I realized I lost my keys and spent the next 30 minutes digging in the dirt for my keys only to realize they went through my pocket and into my boot :smackself:

Lol!! That's pretty funny haha. Ive had the back end come out on my bike 3 times. Once on the track, and the other two on dirt and gravel that wasnt there the day before lol.

So tonight i was just cruising around in the teg watching drunk people and looking for parties. I pulled up to a 03ish gt sitting right in the road stopped. Flashed him (doesn't really change brightness haha), didn't move. Honked my little horn, didn't move. I was this freakin close to blowing my train horn but I decided I wanted to see what the dumbass was doing.

They stared at me like I was the dumb one.. smfh.

How well does a chin bone work? Assuming it's to keep the frame from flexing and the scooter stiff?
