Big question here though. Would you guys buy a salvage title bike for your first beginner bike?

Salvage title doesn't mean anything if the frame isn't damaged, I've seen clean title bikes in worse condition than some salvage titles.

EXACTLY. I sold my sv650 to my best friend for less than I bought it for and now he's pissed and saying I ripped him off because apparently no one wants to buy a salvage bike.

He had a guy come to look at it and road it and said it was the best riding bike he's riden. But my friend couldn't find the fucking title so the guy ditched out.

People who think they know a lot about bikes like to spread that whole salvage title bullshit when in reality a clean title is just as likely to be f***ed up.

Take Onefast's Fireblade for example, It has a clean title and the frame is split in two where the pin that holds the swingarm on goes through.

I suppose a salvage title is more likely to be damaged but all you have to do is look at the main stuctural points of the frame to know if it's fucked or not, Everything else is repairable as long as the engine is okay and that's obvious.

Yup.. and also it's rebuilt from salvage which is even better.

The bikes fairings are pretty messed up and the tank has a nasty dent on top but otherwise thats it. I think his other friends with inline 4s or the guys he's working with give him shit because he works At a Toyota body shop, so they all see the damage and give him crap. It's only cosmetic, which I ran with for a year and had no problems.

That f***er with the big wheel scoot I wanna buy won't answer his phone for s***.. Left a message last night and one earlier and still nothing.

He said in the ad he got "bombarded with replies the first time" he posted the ad, but apparently he doesn't respond, otherwise that b**** would've been sold already.

Installed new brake pedal after a small modification to it, Cleaned all the plastidip off of the rearset/guard. Now I want to clean the plastidip after the rear foot pegs and the rear brake reservoir, But It will be awhile cause I'm so tired of cleaning plastidip lol. Ignore the rediculously long brake line, It has a brake line made for a stretched bike, Without a stretch. Lol

Gave up on the 152 big wheel, so i may be going to look at this once the guy I talked to gets back to his wife about the title situation. I don't really give a shit about it, just trying to get it a bit cheaper :lol:
