Search. Like has been said a hundred times. We can give you a thousand different ways but budget and goals will determine what you do. Google is your friend. Make good with it. Maybe even try a good reach around for the bitch. Lol

That's me being nice. This is a huge subject that if you will spend the next few minutes you will find everything you will ever need to know about it.

Ls-vtec isnt different, to do it correct its costly. Honestly build the b18b1 you have for boost. That is plenty of money to piece together a decent turbo set up and pay for a tune and dyno

LS/Vtec is fairly common. As was mentioned- GOOGLE it. If you can't find an answer you shouldn't be modding your car.

I agree you should just drop a C1 in.

Keeping the B's alive.
I've had my share of every B series engine except a B16. And by far, my favorite is a B20Vtec. I revved the stock frankenstein to 8600 and never had any issues. It blew up due to a skunk 2 throttle body screw backing itself out and getting sucked in, bending a valve. I can honestly say I've had more fun with that engine than anything else. Especially mated with a good transmission. I have an ITR 4.7 LSD. My suggestion would be to go that route. You just have to do it right, like replacing the rod bolts with ARP's because the factory ones stretch. That's the biggest issue with those. The only thing I HATE about Frankensteins, is the fact that they don't have a girdle. That ends up being an issue if you're keeping it in high revs for a long time, e.g.. track/course/time attack racing. Good luck with the build.

C1's are great. But b1's are stronger and cheaper
That's incorrect. They may be cheaper, but building a LS/V motor for the same power is not cheap. They are NOT stronger motors however. As far as sleeves and such go- they are equal. The C1's generally have higher compression and the heads flow better. Building for high horsepower the C1's are superior to the B1's in strength as well. (Referring to the top end.)
