yeah.. its the HKS hiper mega flow.. doesnt filter for shit so i got an AEM one from a friend.. im eventually going to get something CAI.. maybe a CP one.. 80 bucks and its CARB legal..

When it comes to filters:

Flow: Foam > Cotton

Filtering: Cotton > Foam

Anyone heard anything about the new filters that AEM uses-the ones that you don't have to oil. I've had my AEM cai for like 5 years now. THey say that the K&N has a life time warranty but its seen better days. THe rubber is turning white and flaking off (don't ask me why). THe filter itself is still good-I clean and oil it a couple times a year. I really want to get the password JDM or the top fuel intake. I've hit some nasty puddles with no damage-the thought of hydro lock scares me cause a buddy had that happon to him.

Try Black Magic Engine Shine and degreaser. That shit works wonders.
