Ok man, that's how you post the picture but that's not your ecu. Under your passenger side carpet where your feet would go, pull that up. There's a metal plate on the ground with 4 10mm nuts, take them out, under that is your ecu. Take the 5 phillips head screws out and take a picture.

Ecu

Alright, Its snowing and raining at the same time here, and pitch black...but I got it.

So, can I use this in a b18b? Do i need he whole ECU or does the chip have to removed and re-soldered?

Thanks man.

Well, now you have :p That thing rocks. And yeah thats my ECU according to you. (Exact location you specified) I wanna use it in whatever motor I put in next.

I know it's an ecu, I meant if it was yours but I see that it is. Yea I would say it would be easier to just run the b18b with your obd0 distributor, I don't think anything else is different.

B18 wins!

Awesome thanks man. I just bought a brand new distributor so id hate to see that go anyway. (damn those things are expensive..especially new) I heard someone say something about having to use my 02 sensor and injectors and such...You dont think thats necessary? just the distributor?

So JDMB18b it is, intake, dc headers, mugen chip, and cat back exhaust. This is gonna be fun...May not seem like much to some but I am going from 130 HP to somewhere near 160 after all is said and done. In a naturally aspirated bare bones RS that 'aint bad.

Thanks to all that chimed in. I would go with the b20 but Im pretty happy with the high revving 18 series considering Im not boosting.

B18b wins :D Cant wait to have an update for you all.

Also OBD0 injectors are peak and hold, and OBD1 are saturated. The peak and hold have a lower impedence then the saturated, so to use the saturated you would have to remove the injector resister box. Which will take some wiring.

Is it easier to use the ODD0 injectors? is there any disadvantage to that? Is it easier than removing the injector resistance box?

Man I hope whoever I get to do this knows as much as you do lol Cuz I sure e as hell dont.

Yes you'll also have to use the old o2 and just use your original injectors, they're both 240cc so it doesn't matter.
