What was the outcome with this turbo D series? I dont agree with that assessment.
The outcome. I just moved on to another project. It was my daily driver and was running close to 30psi to achieve this power level. Traded the engine/trans/turbo setup for a Talon TSI and moved on from it as well.
But as for the spark issue, I understand what you are saying. But my tuner and I tried many different things at that time(even tighter gap). I even tried different distributors. Which the one that I ended up at the last stage was a brand new OEM Honda distributor. My tuner is very knowledgeable, and it is what we ended up with. Talked about gong with M&W ignition setup, AEM like this, but I was currently running S300 at the time.
