No it's all stock right now, it would be alot quicker in the quarter if it didn't have that damn boost limiter on it. Only 10lbs in first and second, and like 13lbs in 3rd, then 16lbs in the rest of the gears. Totally lame I know but there's no way to shut it off, unless you go with some aftermarket tuning crap.Cheesenip said:I ran a 13.8 with 230hp and 250tq.:woot:
the 3's are nice thou, and pretty quick, is yours modded?

Thats actually a good thing. Of course its more noticeable with more power. But youll be faster at 10psi than 15psi and spinning at boost.Aussie said:No it's all stock right now, it would be alot quicker in the quarter if it didn't have that damn boost limiter on it. Eclipses aren't very JDM either hence the reason we are so slowCheese said:and a neon cant ever be fast ever! its too un-jdm
I can't say I would agree with that. Why not have the power and just use restraint. You don't have to just floor it every time. It helps develop good throttle control instead of just smashing the gas to the floor. With full boost and good throttle modulation faster times will be inevitable. It also annoys me because I see so many DSM people say "this turbo spools too fast for a FWD." Why buy a turbo that will spool slower in EVERY gear just because they can't use throttle modulation in the lower gears.speedin said:Thats actually a good thing. If you use throttle control you will only end up using 10psi anyways. So why not make it perfect and take the element of failure out of it. Almost all (id say all but i know you guys would go find the 1 guy) FWD drag racers use a 2 stage boost to keep traction in the lower gears.dc2GS-R said:Eclipses aren't very JDM either hence the reason we are so slow
