I went to the races last night.. i don't see the real big deal about it. I witnessed an ass whooping of a lifetime though.

5th Gen Civic owner calls out crowd.
3rd Gen Teggy owner follows up the challenge.
5th Gen Civic owner goes into small two lane road, does burn out. Left headlight falls out - Velocity Stack hidden behind :shock:...which means K-series, n00bs.
3rd Gen teggy does burn out, sounds mean.
They launch.







3rd Gen teggy wins by 5 car lengths.

the 5th gen was spinning through all it's gears though... it was on steelies with probably shit tires... i'm sure if it had better tires and maybe a better driver that integra would've been done though, lol.

lolol he probably said that too. It's sad that it was the only real race that went down, the whole night there was just a bunch of bullshitters and stuff. Then the cops came and there was a huge scramble and like five cars got blocked in by the cops... lol

can't say I've ever been to anything like that. Last year at automotion there was a huge block up on the main strip. I guess cars blocked the road and people were setting up chairs and shit inside the "block". Then couple people started burn-out contests and doughnuts in the blocked off part.

Lots of pepper spray and big bean bags. lol

sadly i wasn't there.. maybe something cool like that'll happen this year.

in all honesty, i can see now why people hate street racers so much. it's just... they really do give us a bad reputation, running from cops, loitering in parking lots and the utter stupid shit they do. they just get caught up in the moment and forget that they aren't driving a race car and can possibly hurt someone doing what they're doing.
