Screw that. It sucks to be you.The last thing I'd want when rooming with someone is to be the therapist to their relationship problems. I have my own trials and tribulations to deal with. lol You might as well be in the relationship if you're going to have to put up with it anyway. lol
Yea, if you cant step in to help him and give him advice then you have no choice but to be the bystander. The bystander would tell them to get their issues sorted out or move, because they are effecting how you live your life.

If you guys are close you can always get your circle of close friends together have a couple of drinks and then usually around 3-4am when it settles just a bit have one of those calm serious conversations. If she really is psycho and he is love drunk then he may not see it now, but at least when he finally wakes up he will remember his friends tried to help him and didnt stop. Then again maybe with all his close friends in one place trying to tell him the same thing he will listen.

But then again, unfortunately sometimes they dont snap out of it and they settle down with that person and drift away from all their friends as a result. Ive seen that exact thing happen with two close friends, either they were love drunk or just stupid.

I'm J/Ping. I understand where you're coming from. You feel obligated to help without overstepping boundaries because he's your buddy and it's an awkward situation when other couples fight in front of you. It must be stressful on ya, though.
