what is that flange that is on the cat that bolts up to the header called? it has like a bowl like thingy that the metal donut gasket goes into? what is that flange called?

Did you check to make sure your flywheel isn't warped or anything?

Also what bike is that again I forgot, DR200?

Nah, you're talking about my 05 Suzuki DR200SE. It's alright, good MPGs of course, but no power.

My broken bike is the 92 Yamaha XT225 Serow DC (CA).

I'll have to check the flywheel out. Why would it be warped? If the magnets just broke apart, then it wouldn't hold a charge, thus, not starting, sooooooooo I have no idea what I'm talking about, screw electronics PITA.

The flywheel could be the reason it fell apart but it's pretty unlikely so I wouldn't worry about it, Just continue along with replacing it.
