Advice on a GSR

dude. you're in the WI area? Why not just come up here to MN and pick up the 95 GSR, with 100K miles for $5000? I'm sure he'll do $4500 easily.

I would never pay that much for a car with that many miles.
I'd wouldn't pay over $4000.

I'd prefer the coupe - plus its just easier for me to buy locally.

I'm gonna shoot $3000 at that guy this Saturday if everything checks out, and we'll go from there. I don't intend on paying a penny more than $3500. I will also check for leaks and grinding.

Is there a way to check if the axles are bad or been beaten on? I hear those are a common problem.

Look under the car to see if the CV boots are ripped. They probably are if they haven't been replaced. Oh yeah, get a compression test before you buy it. Well, that's if you do.
