Wow. I'm just now finding this thread! We have very similar tastes and goals so I will be keeping an eye on this thread and your build. Looks great so far!

THE BIG SUPRISE IS NEAR
Here are some pics of my Roll Cage, barely in beginning/beginning stages. In the pics the cage is merely mocked up, it's not fully welded into place. I asked for the cage to be made to accommodate all the interior. I want to keep it as a FULL weight Street car. The cage is also for out of town and possibly in town purposes, with my current goal, the cage is necessary to be able to race at certain tracks and events, therefore needed. The cage is not nearly finished. The cage was the reason on why i didn't paint the interior of the car, once the cage is said and done, I will paint the cage and have the interior painted. The entire old interior (panels/seats) is what you see in the pics. The Cage is being built by Eric, he does bad ass work and he will be opening a shop soon, not sure what it's called, but I'll let you all know.

Keep in mind!! Its still a Street Car :D Will drive to and from thee track. When done.

Wow. the cage is coming along nicely!

I have different plans for my cage (like connecting to the rear strut towers and going through the firewall up to the front strut towers) but I'm not keeping the interior like you are. Good work!
