Well, what do they get to the wheels in the car it came out of? I don't think it would change the power to the wheels just swapping chassis. But it would be around 170-175whp. (rough estimate) (& stock motor)
K20A - 190whp
K20A2 - 170whp

^ Those numbers are stock. No modifications.

i c, so if you have the k series swapped, you're putting out about 170-175whp, the b18c1 is about 150-160whp stock (correct me if i remember wrong). With just a few upgrades, the b18c1 will eat up the k-series easily, so why waste the money into k-series swapping.
I would do the JDM B18C-spec R and upgrade it from there than do the K, save a bit of hassle on the swapping process and beside i dont like the looks of the K series.
You would have to build a B18C1 pretty extensively to make it compete with a stock K20A with bolt-ons and a tune.

Keep on Truckin
If you get a K20a2 from an 05-06 type-s you can expect to already be putting down close to 180 at the wheels. no matter how you slice it, the k series motor is a better engine over all. its built better and designed better. i LOVE my integra, but i cant deny the k series engines. and a k swap is so much more bad ass than swapping a b series for a b series. just my 2 cents

Adel, the 05-06 RSX Type S has the K20Z1, not the K20A2. And you are right. The K20Z1 will output close to 180whp.

but he wants 250 to the wheels and a k swap is sooo expensive. ive heard of a 9k k series swap before just to make it pass inspection and emissions. and then you have to spend extra money on top of that to get the power you want.

however, with the k swap and some money on top to get your 250 whp goal it would be more of a daily driver. the engine would handle itself more like a daily driver would.

yeah Matt was right, 05-06 type s is K20Z1, K20A2 is 02-04 type s, K20A is ITR DC5, K24A2 is in those TSX

hey guys, i was wondering, a 01 stock gsr vs. 00 standard prelude auto are they evenly match?

Wait... What?
it seems that everyone is forgetting the cost of the swaps. A k swap is not a cheap swap to do at all and i think if you consider the money spent doing the swap, a turbo or a gsr swap is a much more cost efficient idea...
