and if your going to turbo it, id say just leave the ls head on there. you dont wanna up the compression with a b16 head and then up it even more with a turbo. thats a real good way to screw things up imho. but yea, if your going to turbo, i would do a full rebuild.
DC is in your Vin number. i think the 3rd or 4th digit in. its basically the chassis type. mines a DC4 (ls), gsr is DC2, 4 door is a DB, etc.

Aem all the way. But if you really want the bang for your buck I'd go with a cai either aem or injen. Imho. Unless your buying or building a heat shield for your sri.
