Update, as I am now having to go back and take the car apart myself because nothing is hooked up for smog I see more and more problems. This job was the king of bypass jobs, anything and everything that could be bypassed is bypassed. Guess when he was doing the job if he didnt have a hose on hand or couldnt cut some other one to fit he just bypassed it if he could. Also the car leaks oil like crazy, so much so that after running it the oil lite came on, so i filled it and it went off. With regard to the lawsuit......he says that he doesnt warranty his work so i have no case. RED FLAG to all you out there, HE DOESNT WARRANTY HIS WORK because it is that bad and has probably gone through this many times before me. As I have conversed with him via telephone he has stated, "90% of my customers spend well over $1000, if you want to be a cheapass you get cheapass service." Guess im a cheapass because i only spent $750 on this hack job. Learn from my mistake, do research before you spend money and find a reputable shop.

Definately have a lawsuit. He doesn't know what he's talking about or he's trying to pull you away from taking it to court.

Whenever you make a verbal contract with an individual, in this case the "JOB", the work must be met to standard to full extent of the verbal contract. He did not do the job he was hired of doing and you specifically asked him to take it apart, clean it up, and obviously he did not do that and it leaks oil.

I normally am not too sympathetic with customers because sometimes you do get those wack jobs.
In this case the guy clearly was a A**hole about his work and just want to be a 8==> about it.

Pretty much this is stealing because he didn't do what he was asked to do, took the money, & damaged you car in his shop.

As far as I go. I will never go to Raceline or recommend anyone in doing so. Customer service is pathetic. You never treat customer's like that and I will definately spread the word on his "WARRANTY"

And he's a liar...

I’m in shock that you were dissatisfied with your experience here. I am a man of word and always take care of my customers. I instructed you to drive your car for 1 week to make sure no other issues arise, then come back to finish the rest of the build.

I think that some of you are jumping to conclusions again. The owner had clearly stated that he would fix any problems that arose including the window regulator.. That was in February, and you decide to "keep us posted" in April? I think we're missing a side of the story here, to be dead honest, as this sounds like a large load of crap to me.

well why doesnt raceline come and state his side of the story plus repay him for the engine mount and axles PLUS fix the heater core.
VERBAL AGREEMENTS ARE MORE SECURE THEN A WRITTEN CONTRACT ACCORDING TO THE LAW. thats weird sounding i know but true

A verbal contract is valid and enforceable as long as it can be completed within one year and it is for a service. Additionally, the customer does not have to specify the other party will do a complete job. It is implied that the one taking on the job will complete it in full. Taking short cuts and bypassing stuff that is normal for the car is not complete. However, I am not a lawyer and this information can be different from state to state. I suggest seeking legal council for any additional concerns :D
