My thoughts exactly.i cant believe any shop owner would say that wow
he is offering to fix it, ill keep you posted, on a positive note the motor runs great, lets see if my cat is still good gonna try and smog it today
I think that some of you are jumping to conclusions again. The owner had clearly stated that he would fix any problems that arose including the window regulator.. That was in February, and you decide to "keep us posted" in April? I think we're missing a side of the story here, to be dead honest, as this sounds like a large load of crap to me.Update, as I am now having to go back and take the car apart myself because nothing is hooked up for smog I see more and more problems. This job was the king of bypass jobs, anything and everything that could be bypassed is bypassed. Guess when he was doing the job if he didnt have a hose on hand or couldnt cut some other one to fit he just bypassed it if he could. Also the car leaks oil like crazy, so much so that after running it the oil lite came on, so i filled it and it went off. With regard to the lawsuit......he says that he doesnt warranty his work so i have no case. RED FLAG to all you out there, HE DOESNT WARRANTY HIS WORK because it is that bad and has probably gone through this many times before me. As I have conversed with him via telephone he has stated, "90% of my customers spend well over $1000, if you want to be a cheapass you get cheapass service." Guess im a cheapass because i only spent $750 on this hack job. Learn from my mistake, do research before you spend money and find a reputable shop.

not a large load of crap, its the facts. i dont go on this site very often, just trying to help others avoid making the same mistake that i did.I think that some of you are jumping to conclusions again. thanks man, yeah its long over with now, my goal now is restitution but just to help other potential customers know to steer clear of Raceline.A verbal contract is valid and enforceable as long as it can be completed within one year and it is for a service. Additionally, the customer does not have to specify the other party will do a complete job. It is implied that the one taking on the job will complete it in full. Taking short cuts and bypassing stuff that is normal for the car is not complete. However, I am not a lawyer and this information can be different from state to state. I suggest seeking legal council for any additional concerns
Oh, and Rich, I got my boots and they are awesome. Thank you to you and yor wife.so what's the current status of this issue?
what (if any) legal actions have you taken?
