Clean Headlights???

Has anyone done a wet sand to the headlights? I know it might be a little extreme, but it'll definitly clean them up.

And to clear them, you remove the front bumper right? Well how do you actually get to the lens caps or whatever? Or are you just polishing the outsides of them?

i got a new driver side headlight.

when i turn on my lights, my driver side light is brighter and sharper than the passenger one (original light).

if i clean it with never dull will it get the brightness again?

is this even the problem?

i used the sand paper thing that comes with that compound..ended up lookin worse then it use to.

Might sound wierd, but tooth paste can take some of the grim and crap out of your headlights, when I 1st got my integra it was pretty bad, rubbed some tooth paste and wiped it with a piece of cloth and it made it look alot better.

Yup, toothpaste works amazingly, I just tried it the other day and it works great!

If you want to wet sand use a 2000 grit sand paper. Make sure you keep the paper wet and keep wetting the headlight. Then take a good buffing compound like 3M buffing compound and buff it. If you use a DA to buff be careful not to burn it or else the lense will distort.

Question for G2 owners... How do I remove my Headlight Lens' so I can clean them?

if you have the one peices its easier

i put mine in the ove 200F bake for 10min take em out pry em open with a flat-head

the oem three peiched should work the same but ive never done them.
