Clean Headlights???

I use polishing compound by turtle wax but I've gotta re polish them every 2 months. You guys have better results with your stuff?

just cleaned my oem, use to it from cleaning civic head lights. Clean up real good, use wet sand paper 1200 grit and sand them down. After that us 2000 grit with wet also and sand them again. They will look a little hazy so use some rubbing compound let sit them buff. I use a buffing wheel so makes it easier. Apply as many times as you want to get a real mirror, glossy look. Comes out perfert.

get 1500 grit sand them down not too hard.. than get some wax and take a buffing maching and buff them out using that wax after you sanded them down... it works trust me i did over 7 pairs of headlights

to clean them dont u have to take them out and get behind them, or is all the res on the outside, because if i dont have to take my front end out to get mine crystal id like that alot aha

Sorry to bring this thread up again, but i bought Meguiars PlastiX yesterday and by god it did wonders on my headlights Definitely recommended

yeah i don't have an auto zone, closest thing is Canadian Tire, but i couldn't find it there, the PlastiX worked great though

if u live in canada i went to canadian tire and bought a lens restore kit cost me 15 bucks and came with 2000,2500,3000,3500 grid sandpaper and a bottle of stuff to put on after there sanded works amazing mine were real cloudy now they look brand new

if not.. i just use regular car wax.. works fine for me.. but toothpaste does work.. hahaha!!
