So I noticed I was misfiring a little bit, I went to remove one of the spark plugs and noticed it wasn't attached to the spark plug. Pulled it completely out of the tube and it didn't change how it ran, I think that will solve my misfire when I get it plugged in lol.

I also noticed a vacuum line to my map sensor was off. I don't know if it JUST came off or not, but i'm crossing my fingers that all my little problems will disappear when it starts again.

Mekenzie, there is a bit more to it then just swapping the spring. The stock map sensor is only good to like 10psi, so if I swapped springs I would have to upgrade that as well.

Jason, the cable actually seemed loose again today. I'll readjust it, but nontheless I don't think it's the issue here. I'll keep an eye on it though, and thanks for the comment!

Cole, just do it. You will love a turbo.

Heading out to put another valve cover on along with the new gaskets. Hopefully that stops my oil getting everywhere issue. I also bought some new spark plugs so it will hopefully do a little better when I start it up. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks for reading. :)

I'm lazy.

New VC gasket and grommets on. No more oil spraying out all over the place.

Changed my plug wires, still misfires.
I'll put my new spark plugs in tomorrow, just wanted to make sure all the oil burned up with the old plugs.

Bumpers on. Trimmed it with a grinder, it looks horrendous but when it comes time to actually do body work i'll trim my spare bumper.

Still have the same issues, not sure whats up.. any suggestions?

Boobs, boost. It's all good.
Especially together.. damn I need to find me some boobs to go with all this boost.

I'm running anywhere from 5-7psi. When i'm boosting normally it looks like it holds solid at 5psi. I am thinking about swapping the spring out and putting the 13lb spring in to run a little more.

My oil return line is leaking. I'm not sure why it's leaking but i'll pull the whole fitting and put a new gasket on it and upgrade the return line size. Bah. Heading to home depot in an hour to try to find a bigger fitting.

Zip Ties + Grinder = Street Legal

Since my return line is leaking I am taking the time to upgrade it. I just bought the fittings for a 3/4" return line. I'll go put it on in a few.

I didn't go with the elbow I pictured above. When I got it installed on the turbo it actually pointed up a little bit. As a return line really shouldn't loop back up at all, I went back to the hardware store and bought a 45 degree elbow that would ensure a bit better angle going down.

I believe it's somewhere from 1/2" to 3/4" line that I used for the oil return. The spring I was using was running at 5psi, so I swapped it with another spring I had and it seems to be a solid ten psi. Works out great because I believe the stock map can hold up to like 10.5 lol.

The oil return seems to be leaking still, so tomorrow I suppose I will pull the flange and slather some high temp rtv on it.

And Jim, i'm not sure really. Probably the tiny oil return line I did have on there along with the massive oil pressure I was putting out. I am going to try to find oil seals to fit my Godspeed turbo. I'd hate to buy another new turbo, if i'm lucky I can cram some Garret seals or something in it.
