7/8/11: Well I was looking for the cheapest option for rims to mount slicks on, but sometimes a deal comes along thats too good to pass up. I picked up a set of Matte Black Lenso's, that were brand new in the box. I am talking unopened still in the box, for a really good price locally tonight. Going tomorrow hopefully to get the slicks mounted on the wheels

Yeah I know about Lenso, there is also V2 competition and Weld

i actually have exospeeds they look very similar and good find, matte black is nice, don't you love finding things like that when you want them

7/10/11: Woke up today and headed to NTB where my buddy works to have the wheels and slicks mounted up. Gotta love having friends who work at different shops, thanks Mike! Came home from swimming and decided to toss the wheels on and raise/mark the suspension so I know where to lower it back to for street driving compared to track use. Next up is some ARP extended studs and lug nuts, then hopefully mid to low 12 second passes

That was something I was thinking about. At what point do you actually have to upgrade your CV axles?

Some people have seen 30+ passes on stock axles and 500hp, others have broken axles on stock power, its a crap shoot really. I want to get some Driveshaft Shop 5.9's (1000hp rating) but just don't have the $1700 to drop on axles right now.

Sad thing is, they aren't. My buddy snapped one last year on less then 500whp, cost him $250 to have it rebuilt

for 1700 and 1000hp guarantee, they should have some lifetime warranty on them thats crazy

Yeah I agree with the warranty on the axles, I'd be pretty damn choked. Have you got out on the track this week? Or must we wait til the weekend =[?

Track is open tomorrow, but.....I don't have my extended studs so I don't think I am going. However they are open Friday and Sunday so i should have the studs installed by then and be able to make it

Went to the track last night, knocked some time off my 1/4 mile. Car still isn't where it should be ET wise, its trap speed is still 109, but best I could get out of it was 13.1. Track surface sucked as my best 60ft was a 1.9, should be 1.5-1.6, that'd put the car well into the 12s. Will be turning up the boost before going back
