What works for you? I'm doing P90X for a second time. My first round I had lost 47lbs in the 3 months. I also have Insanity but maybe I'll do that after I'm done with this round of p90x. I've been swimming and running as well because I'm training for a Lifeguard competition in July and for the upcoming water polo season for college

1 minute max out is what I do.

Put 60 seconds on the clock and do as many push ups as you can. Stop and rest for 2 minutes.

Repeat that with situps, and flutter kicks and then do the set over again and that's your workout. You'll hurt like hell after that.

if you want any sort of carido dont do this. a fast thing to do that i do to train (i race motocross) is set up alot of waights that are somewhat heavy for you like 5 sations and bike or run for 10 min then do the 5 stations repeat its good because its both carido and strength and if done fast enough its carido all the time

word. I lost 47 pounds in my first time doing p90x too lol, are you trying to get stronger or just get in better shape?

will p90x work if your heavy or do you have to be in somewhat in a good shape already. Im six feet tall and about 240-250lb I wanna loose 40-50 lbs and gain more muscle. I'm thinking about ordering one.

if you were closer i'd let u burn the DVD's lol and I'm 6'2 225 right now.. want to get back down to about 180..

If your just trying to tone id use Insanity.. i do it 4 days a week and do perfect pushups... i lost 23 lbs in a month and a half eating a 1700 cal diet just to tone.. im a hip hop dancer and insanity keep me in shape pretty good...

I'm 5'10" and I weighted 220 before I used p90x. Now I weigh 185. It helped me tone up pretty good. I was always into power lifting then decided to switch it up a little.
