This is where you are wrong. Most if not all Multi-Platform games are superior on the Xbox.
On top of that, It's faster. The Xbox has a triple core processor while the PS3 has one with 7 SPE's that are very limited because every SPE is designed to have a specific function instead of pushing everything out without limit.
Heres a graph.
Xbox is a much superior gaming machine.
The ONLY way the PS3 has the upper hand is due to the Blue-ray Disc format storage. It can hold a TON of memory compared to DVDs.
Blue-Ray is way too hyped and will die like UMD's.
Our technology is advancing toward harddrives or Re-Writable formats that can be replaced with larger ones.
The Xbox can put out the same if not, superior graphics than the PS3 if they decide to start getting rid of discs. I think this is why they charge for Xbox live, because in the future gaming and buys will be off of the net with the internet being upgraded to super fast connections in the recent years...
Blue ray was advanced too soon before superior technology could replace it. And then it will slowly die.
Looking back. I f'd up my 1st Xbox due to the fact that it was on a shelf. The processor is much better Xbox than the PS3 and needs to be kept cool. The PS3 is a good machine, but it was meant to be more of an entertainment center for movies.
Most companies refused to make PS3 games because the 7 SPE's require too much money to invest in.
SPE's were used in the first super computers and that technology was abandoned a long time ago.
WTF? Is this turning into a "Xbox 360 vs. PS3" thread? Go make one. Don't just thread jack..
Boo hoo for Sony network getting hacked. Cry some more :whiner:
Watch, Sony will probably start charging to use the PSN because of this, lol. That would be funny to see.
P.S. If you have made the assumption that I am a PC user, then *ding ding ding* you are a winner

PC's are the most commonly hacked system. Not only for information, but also in gaming.
I agree PC's are superior, but gaming is limited due to the libraries and system exclusives.
You must also agree it will be an infinite fight to be keeping up with the upgrades every couple years.

No denying any of what you stated. I agree 100%. Technology is definitely a fight since it is being updated and growing at a rapid pace. Because of that, newer PC games are also a fight to keep up with due to heavy system requirements.
Me on the other hand, I have never been hacked. I have had many PC viruses though, 99% of them being false positives. Only two that have done actual harm, which was years ago.
It is hard to keep up with today's technology, especially if on a budget. Also, people need to be educated about PC security. Unfortunately, a vast majority of PC users do not know how to safely browse websites or understand the differences between safe/unsafe websites. People tend to download virus prone files, and do not manually run an anti virus scan to verify that the file is indeed safe. So many things I can talk about in regards to PC security. I think that I have made my point though. /end tl;dr
