I agree that people will perceive you differently if every third word you say is "fucking", especially if it sounds like "fuggin" when you say it, than they would if you didn't.
I agree that there is a time and place. When I'm at work in the office or the store front dealing with customers I'll certainly refrain from using it. If I'm back in the service bays with just the other techs, I'm less likely to filter it out.
In front of my grandmother, of course I filter it out, just hanging out with Ricky or someone else, not likely.
If "fuck"(or it's various forms) is the only noun, adjective, pronoun, verb, etc, you can ever find to use, it's likely I think you're and idiot. If you use it once in a while, oh well.
I've been around Navy sailors and I've been in the presence of diplomats and high powered business men, and there is a vocabulary that is appropriate for each setting.
As for Club Integra, I really don't get bothered by language used here. Well aside from "ghetto skreetz tauk".

Oddly enough people spelling things incorrectly bothers me more then swearing. If I see someone saying "dat" instead of "that," then I will most likely give a not-to-friendly reply.

Personally: It doesn't bug me if people swear on here. It's the internet whatever. Even at my house but if you were at a meeting to close a 10 million dollar deal that would let you retire early and said f***ING SIGN WITH US. They'd walk out that second. I know I would.

it's all about image. if you don't appear to be respectable you wont be respected.

When it's not directed at someone as a personal attack, it doesn't really bother me and it shouldn't need to be censored, IMO. CI members haven't really had that problem too much. I occasionally have a potty-mouth if something is really bothering me, but I don't think we need someone babysitting our words on here. If we're old enough to decide whether we want to use it or not, we're also old enough to ignore it when it does come up. :twocents:

Honestly whats the big deal?

Why should it matter if you can be obscene or not? Your message still gets across, except you can't see the individual letters.
I see no reason to have it, and I see no reason to take it away.
I'm pretty neutral on this whole thing really..

You guys are way too uptight and need to loosen up.
Don't like it? Don't converse with them, ignore it, get off the internet..like seriously. There are WAY other more worthwhile things to complain about.
This is a forum for Integras, and just because someone drops the f-bomb on occasion, doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about.
Hell, people using improper grammar is FAR more annoying (and actually affects the ability of other people to understand that person) than swearing. Get real.
