Split boots. But they may eventually start leaking, because the axle moves up and down do much over bumps, the seal may break and you would have to replace them again. They are also not as inexpensive as normal boots, but nice to have for a quick fix.i was lookin under my car and noticed that one of my boots is tearing... is there anyway i can replace it with out having to do everything listed above?
Ball joint separator (so you dont damage your lower or upper ball joints)
32mm Socket
Breaker Bar
17mm wrench
Prybar
dead blow hammer, or hammer and block of wood/something to deaden the blow.
...maybe a couple other things
Plus new or remanufactured axles and transmission fluid.
Drain transmission fluid.
Break free the axle nut on both side of the car (center of wheel)
Loosen lug nuts
Jack car up
Take of wheels
Passenger side:
Remove the cotter pin in the lower ball joint nut. remove nut.
Remove the axle nut if you havent already
Using the ball joint separator, break the balljoint free from the lower arm.
Tap on the end of the axle with a dead blow hammer, so it slides though the hub slightly.
Lift the hub out of the lower control arm, push the axle the rest of the way out. Put the axle out of the tranmission.
Same thing for the driver side, except you need to pry the axle out of the half shaft gently.
Its labor intensive as you can see. Its not like changing the oil.
thnks man, ill have to check them out cuz i realy dont feel like takin everything apart just for one boot haha^^ Edit Button.

I'd still take it out, much easier to work on then trying to take the old boot off, cleaning the joint and and rebooting it. If you go that route you can get a 1 piece without the split in it.thnks man, ill have to check them out cuz i realy dont feel like takin everything apart just for one boot haha
