take rear seats out?

so ive been thinkin that i want to take my rear seats out...it looks clean, i never use them anymore because if sum1 is back there ill almost deffinitelly scrape..i really like the way it looks, coys makin me jealous only problem is....if i take em out then theyre out for good...i live in a barracks room, i dont have much space at all..so ill have to throw them away or sell them..

opinions?

thats exactly what i said then i bought some the same day...100 sq ft of it!

i did mine except for under the rear seats didnt really care about that part seemed solid, but its kinda like dynamat but way cheaper. i did two layers on most of the car and three layers on the doors, heres a video of what difference it made

Its up to you if you want to keep them.... :roll:. Fatman/dynomat = noise reducing insulation pads. You're a big boy, you can decide for yourself :rolf:.

I took the seats out to see if I liked it for the weekend. I left the carpet in so it looked pretty OEM. I was going to put them back in on the Monday. That was about 2 years ago and it's only been losing stuff back there.

Now it looks like this:

^ I did the same thing as well when I was living in San Diego. I took out all my rear side panels + seats, except drivers + boot, just to test it. The noise was dramatically noticeable.

I've been thinking about either using bedliner or plastidip to make my hatch floor black.

But, what do you do with the little bar that was under the rear seats? and the wires?

i noticed that too, i think its just screwed in so its easy to take out. but i may be wrong
