i am running coilovers. Koni/ground control and no that is not the max drop. It could be lower with smaller tires and also there is an adjustable ring on the strut so you can adjust where the coilover sleeve actually sits on the strut. My ring is on the highest setting so this suspension setup is PERFECT if you are trying to slam a car. Its a smooth ride.........for a slammed ride lol. I recommend fender flaring and rolling tho! LOL only my rear is rolled. Lots of scrapping on the inner fender well. :???:
Yea my car is taken apart at the moment so i am going to get started on the slam and tuck work for the body. Thanks for the pointers.

blox is an ok brand but ive never heard much about their suspension set up. id read up on it if i were you! ;)
Yeah ill I've tried doing some research but every time I search, I get H-T threads with a bunch of flaming lol

I'm looking for some full coilovers for around $500-$600 BUT ill have to be able to slamm them while keeping a soft ride....

Is your setup soft? I wouldn't mind doing a sleeve/strut combo if I could achieve "low&soft"

i mean its a soft ride for a slammed ride....nearly every slammed car i have drove or rode in tends to be somewhat bumpy but overall its a lot softer than I thought it was gonna be. before i lowered it, it was amazing and was only real bumpy when i adjusted the dampening on the struts!

slammed + soft is a bad combo. you'll end up bottoming-out, scraping on the freeway/highway, uca's up front smash into the wheel well, etc...

thats why you go slammed + stiff so that wont happen.

I think a good question is...what's your suspension setup Coy!

So their is no such thing of having some slammage while having a smooth ride, with a little wheel traval?

I'm pretty bouncy with the setup I have now..now I don't even think its worth spending the money, on full coilovers if imma just be bouncing around on all that money thru the city:thumbs up lol j/k

Yeah you're right. I guess I thought it was possible to get a soft low ride..I bet it feels good adjusting the dampening ;) idk what setup imma go with though:(

im on hks doods.. oldschool :thumbs up its a bit on the soft side for me. its comfy but i scrape and hit my uca's quite often. at least i know what lane not to be in around my city.

sorry to say, there is no such reason as slammed and comfy. ive been in many rides with stiff suspension. its not bouncy at all. its stiff. theres a difference.

on my new suspension, im looking to get custom spring rates. i'll just say that im going to look at VIP spring rates for lexus/infiniti vip owners ride on.
