I recommend upgrading the rod bolts if you decide to do an LS/VTEC. If you dont, your bottom end wont safely spin up to the B18C1's redline.

ls/v will run you 1-2.5k depending on where you take it and how much you do your self

you need a vtec head obviously
but for the block that isnt made for the high rpm's to perform and last it must be upgraded.
you will need at the minimum rods and pistons, a sleeve would help alot but Isn't completely necessary
if you are actually interested in this you should do some research
you will need a complete head gasket kit, a vtec water pump, and i recommend arp head studs and rod bolts.

id say do it ur self cuz then u know its done right and u also get the good feeling that comes with building ur engine from the ground up.....or u could buy the vtec and sell ur engine and but a turbo or body kit or something with the money

i was not expecting that muchh, ill jus turbo that shit for that muchh
LS/V can be done right for less than $2k if you can do some of the assembly and drop the motor in yourself. You're not going to find a quality turbo kit for that cheap.

Keep It Clean
Its completely reliable. Know tons of people who have done it with the Golden Eagle kit and it is perfectly fine. No like the vtec motors have vtec pistons or anything. Its the same block so its no different then a vtec motor. maybe bump up to a P73 oil and water pump
My bad bro. I was mistaking LS-V with Turbo. I've heard turbo kits are UNreliable. Wither shits breaking from stress, heat breakes welds, or oil leaks.

Don't forget installation if you aren't installing it yourself. I was also accounting for you doint the proper fuel upgrades, motor internal upgrades, ECU and tuning software, TUNING, and miscellaneous things you will need...or you can just spend $1795, bolt it on and blow up your motor.

oh yeah man, the ls/v-tec frankenstein motors a damn monster......... there's an article (an old one) where they do the dyno and build on that motor in super street....... they made it N/A on juice an the power ban was crazy same as the band.............

vtec is a waste of fuel anyways. you have to put 91 in it and it adds just a hand full of horsepower.... I would just save my money and buy a street bike to go fast. then just look good in the teggy.
