6k or 5k hid's

dont kno which one to go with yet. if you have a pic of either one that would be great. one from the outside and a pic from the inside looking out the windshield. just want to make sure which one i want.

i got 6k, i love them but really up to you if you like the blue tint or rather white for 5k i also have ddm tuning HID's gotta love'em!

are the 6ks a very light blue if they are i will go with them

also have you guys heard of retrofitted hids where you replace your headlight housing with projector hid housings. is it hard to do? and how much would it cost


heres a pic comparing the plug in then use ones and the retrofitted

i'd go with 4500 they're the best. i have 6k on mine right now because ddm didnt have 4500 at the time =/ im not into the whole blue lights thing thats why

The other thing you have to realize is the higher the temperature or the more K's, the less actual light you put down on the ground. So I have 8000k but would put more light out further on the ground with 4300k or 6000k.

I sold a douche bag a 12000k kit. He thought it would "blind a nigga" as he was leb or something else that isn't black. The brightest is 4300k and it's legal. I don't know about laws where you live but even 6000k is not legal here.

nice slow teggy i think ill go with 6k and where did u get those from? im thinking about getting mine from ddmtuning
and also are those retrofitted? or regular plug and play hids

Your best bet is to buy them off someone that is selling them for about $80 a kit. They are simple plug and play.

I installed the 2 ballasts in the fender and did a half-ass wire tuck.

This picture was taken last year and since then, I have found a way to completely hide the wire but...


They fit in just like any other bulb. Are you going to get 2 kits or just 1?

DDM Tuning is $35 shipped or $45 for the 55w ballast.
