hahahaha u guys r going to keep going at it for days so i say some body has to vot my vote goes to u DumaDa9 .. j13 i think has no idea what the fuck he is say ive had my switch for about 2 years now and ive never had no problems and today i kept an eye on my temp gauge and saw no movement from the temp my buddy had on his dc2 whitch does not have a switch .....

Running a fan all the time, isn't going to solve anything.ok, if it was a thermostat, coolant, or radiator, his car would over heat at random times, no matter the driving conditions, if your car is over heating ONLY while not moving, it obviously means that your fan (which assists the car in keeping cool in times like this) is either faulty, or the fan switch is faulty, if the op has posted a thread asking how to keep the fan on, i would assume he's already tested it to make sure it still works, and i would expect you to know, since you're apparently so knowledgable, that just because the fan doesnt turn on, doesnt mean that its broken
