non vtec Distributor will work with a vtec head, you just have to cut off the ear closest to the vtec solenoid. for all it's trouble you're better off using a vtec distributor.
thanks for the info. .. how about the knock sensor? does the B18a1 have this sensor already?

It depends on what year, your car doesn't need the knock sensor anyway. I don't use one.

mine is '92.. but I was just asking it for my friend (and for my future plans), he's going LS/V with his B18b1 and he's not sure if his block already have a knock sensor..

just remember if you do decide to go lsvtec, the transmission is going to make or break the way you feel about it, i gaurantee after the time and money you spend on your set up, if you stick with the ls transmission, you're not going to feel satisfied

not trying to get off topic. but i did my research and to do a lsvtec it comes out bout the same price as in turbo kit . so which is better ls turbo, or lsv

depends what kind of turbo you're talking kit you're talking about. It probably isnt a turbo kit that uses high quality parts. For the turbo kit you're still going to need to convert to obd1 to get tuned, then you'll need the actual turbo, all of your piping, your manifold, wastegate, BOV, you'll want bigger injectors, and to redo your exhaust piping. Sounds more expensive to me

How you like my v-tec?
first off vtec is nice but over rated.. secondly who ever said vtec + turbo is great is retarded and shot be shot and put out of there misery.. all vtec does is open up your valves more to allow more air/fuel to enter the cylinder and if you dont do it right when you slap a turbo on it you can say good bye to that head and possibly the block as well because your forcing way to much air into a small space
What- InTheHell---R U Talking About?? Over rated? You must be an "All Motor" guy and I can respect that, but don't knock what you don't have bro! Having Vtec along with a nice Turbo set-up [of course being properly tuned] can make your engine a beast. What can blow your engine is if you don't build-up your engines internals so it's ready for turbo. If you just have a stock engine with just bolt-ons...you still have work to be done. At that point you would be at danger of blowing your engine.

BOTH!
No, but seriously....both. I'm obviously a little bias, but you should get LS/tec, GSR Head, Type R tranny and the new Edelbrock Turbo. Don't forget to build your internals...get some cams etc etc.
