Automatic transmissions popular?

get a stick autos are no fun and if i owned an auto id put a 5 speed in it before i tint windows and put intake/fart cans on it

Depends on what you prefer really. Autos can be made as quick as manuals. Just takes ALOT more money lol. But for someone attached to his or her 'Teg, it wont matter. I have an auto and i am gonna be rebuilding it as aforementioned. We have the technology. xD

Id definately get an auto 4door, slam it, front lip, system, and low offset wheels.

Perfect for a daily! I'm getting a bit tired of driving stick sometimes.
Some days I just wanna cruise and not worry about shifting. I guess I'm getting old. LOL!

its pointless to mod a auto IMO

correction-im saying its pointless in my opinion because i dont think autos arent fun to drive

dont get offended and think i mean it pointless to mod because there slow....autos are not much slower than manuals :)

Judging their popularity by sales, they're probably about 50/50. Sure there are a lot of manual cars out there, but think about all the grocery gettin' autos. People who aren't enthusiasts who just buy Integras - whether new or used - as basic transportation. Women, old ladies/old men, or like I said, people who aren't enthusiasts.

I think it's pointless to turbocharge a riced out car..or buy an already modified car(someone else's work/creation)

yeah you can make autos fast as hell..alot of my buddies have fast ass autos that will keep up with my car

there just no fun to me...if im going to put money into a car, i wanna have fun with it :D

Mteg = win in my books. He pointed me in the right direction to build my auto to shit on others. Now building the funds for it is my next goal. Its not as cheap but can be worth it if approached and executed properly.

He has 2 autos last i heard. One with just a torque converter and one with the intentions of both torque converter and bulletproof rebuild.

yeah true that if i had no choice but a auto...damn right im gonna mod it

it just isnt fun driving an auto....thats why i said it was pointless in my opinion
