Car smoking.
So about 2 days ago after driving for about 15 miles i reach where im going to and park. I start to notice white smoke coming out of the engine area. When i looked it looks like the smoke was coming from the radiator area and green fluid was leaking out a little bit, but not like it was flowing out. I look at my anti-freeze and it is half way full. So i take it to a shop today and they said i have to get a whole new radiator and what not for $300. Now before i took it to the shop i asked a few other people and most of them said one of the hoses just needs to be replaced. any ideas?

Visually inspect the radiator for leaks. The "smoke" you saw was probably steam from the fluid evaporating. The can buy yourself a new radiator and replace it yourself for significantly cheaper. Its really easy too.

Just take the fans off, drain the coolant, take the two hoses off, take the two retainers off of the top, and pull it up. Super simple.

best engine swap for my 98 ls? i heard rsx type s engine will fit? no yes? and whats the engine called? k20 vtec???? or k24? im pretty confused

the K20a3 is the RSX type S motor. it will fit but thats quite an expensive swap it generally runs about 7-10 grand depending on who you know. and how well you know them!

:alcoholic Ive been up the past.. oh 37 hours? think i got a 10 min nap somewhere in that. oh well car trouble, girl trouble fml! :lol: but :wgaf:

oh fucked up =/ i'd rather just fix up my b18b1 hahaha thats TOO much for my budget i'd be willing to spend 3-5k

K20A3 is the base RSX and EP3 Civic Si engine

$3k-$5k....just build a B18C and stick it in there

Showed up at work the time my manager asked me to be here, and i'm like the only one in the entire mall. Kinda creepy
