i have a 93 integra gsr with a b17 in it. if i where to do a type r swap all i would need is the ecu, motor and tranny packge or would i need to buy the complete change over from hmotorsonline.com??? sorry this has probaly been posted before just want to make sure before i go to hmotorsonline.com and start ordering.

im just a litte confused on which one to order. i think everything thats in the car should bolt up so i would prob just need the motor tranny ecu and everything else should work fine. correct? i figured a b series should bolt up to a b series. also. what do i do about the obd1 to obd2 problem? will the ecu fix that or is there a harness/wiring thing i need to buy to change it?

First off, Search next time. Swaps are covered almost weekly.
Second, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT taint the rarest Integra ever built with a motor swap. If you want a G2 with an ITR motor, but a DA and swap the B18C(3,5,R) into that and sell me your DB2.

Swapping the B17a out of a DB2 is like boosting an ITR motor, you just shouldn't do it.

They are Rare but not like a 200zr or fairldyz 432R, but close. Brokentalon27 is right though about swaping an itr motor, with the money you would spend on the swap it could be put towards the B17. Why spend all that money on an itr for only 20 maybe 25 more hp and however much tq? you can spend the money ona good build up of the B17? with the money you spend building it you'd have way more hp then a stock itr motor and still have some money for other things.your GS-R trans and the ITR trans have the same gear ratio's if I'm not mistaken(some one correct if wrong) just my 2 cents, but do more reasearch before you start spending money.

you may be correct. im not sure about the early gsr gear ratios. But if its a b16 tranny then its a 4.4 final drive and same ratios as a 96 spec itr. its exactly the same except without a lsd.

brokentalon is absolutly correct, and no the itr trans is shorter by a little bit

b16 and the itr are the same. b16 tranny=96 itr tranny without lsd the 98 has a shorter final drive BUT 96 and 98 spec itrs have the same 1/4 mile times.

spun bearing... B17... tree fiddy? if everything else is good and its low miles then i think 750 should be reasonable? assuming it comes with everything... but i would probably try for 500 if he spun a bearing
