when you rev match dont you have to apply tha heel toe procedure? if not then what exactly are tha steps to rev match. because i tried to look "how to rev match" on youtube. not much help really. and when you blip tha throttle does it automatically go to tha correct RPM itself? or you juss gotta play around wit it and get a feel for it

Unless you have a Dogbox with strait cut gears you have no need to so this. Stock transmissions have synchros for this reason.

you dont have to and it will go to the proper rpm whent he clutch is fully released but you shouldnt feel any sock the purpose of rev matching is for smoothe down shifting and if you dont hit the right RPMs it will be rough

you don't have to heel/toe to rev match. you can just clutch with the left foot and gas with the right foot.

heel/toe is only needed for rev matching during braking.

purpose of rev matching is for smoothe down shifting
yeah its to make it smoother but you can do that by slowly letting the clutch out. the purpose of heel/toeing is to not have to gradually let the clutch out..to just let it out as quick as you clutch in. and the only way you can do that is to have the engine spinning the same RPM as the gear you want.
the purpose is to not upset the car during cornering.

so let me see if i got this right. say im aboutta turn a corner on 4th gear (this is for heel toeing)

1st slowdown before tha turn

2nd downshift RIGHT before tha corner and at tha SAME time slowly let go of tha clutch step on tha brake and at the SAME time apply a lil gas as im coming out of tha turn

did i get it right??

Due to the notorious weakness of Honda synchros, I would recommend rev-matching though. They have a tendency to wear out easily as is, why accelerate the wear when you could make their job easier ;)

or just make sure to change your trans fluid regularly.

rev matching is this

when driving in a straight line, press the clutch in downshift and hit t he throttle and dump the clutch or ride it depending on if you think its in the right rpm. if you are at the right rpm you wont feel it, you will know if you over rev or under rev. use that to do try your next rev match

another "advanced" revmatch technique is just kicking the clutch while holding your foot on the floor. its faster than the above method. while kicking in the clutch you throw it down 1 gear and while the clutch is engaged your revs raise. if done right you shouldnt over rev.

heel toe is only for corners rev matching is for straights

Rev-matching will still prolong the life of the synchros whether you change your fluid every two days or harldy ever. Considering that just about every Integra encounters 2nd and/or 3rd synchro issues, it's not a whole needed to justify a rev-match. It's not like it takes extra time out of your day to rev-match. It is simple and effective and becomes a natural quickly. You will be doing and not even thinking about it after a while.

true.. however with a stock clutch, stock trans if u change the fluid and shift properly u wont blow the trans..

Now in the RX7 with the stage 3 and the build this and thats yes I rev match
