JDM conversion

How much would it cost to have the Jdm front end done by a pro. and is it difficult to do it by yourself?
I know it's gonna be different depending on the bumper you get and the headlights you put in.
I'm just trying to get a basic understanding and a ball park figure?

Also, what would be the best turbo to put in a 94 teg rs with a 1.8 vtec engine?

if your mechanically inclined its not that hard or if you have a friend that cld help you, and yea its 2k for the hid version with a front lip, and as far as the turbo goes if you still have the original motor i wld suggest as small as possible like a t25 or t28 on low boost, and thats if you dont wanna build your engine at all but even that wont be worth it in my opinion since you cld probably run like 5psi and be safe. But yea a t25 setup and a tune and ur good to go

Well the question is how much power r u looking for?

Just call me chris.
but at the same time the more power you add the shorter your engines lifespan. and hamface i thing that back bumper is euro cuz it is wide enough to the europlates.

Dudes. Get your thread jacking out of here. Go to OT anything goes or finish your conversation in PMs. 3 pages of you guys talking is ridiculous.

thanks alot guys.
If I live on a dirt road I shoudn't put a turbo on the car right?
I was told that the forced induction will just suck dirt up into my motor.
And I should not have a cold air intake on a daily driver cause it will suck up rain or suck up waters from puddles and screw up the car?

You can put a filter on your turbo. Unless you want to be one of those morons that puts wire mesh over it.

No offence but you are about as clueless as they come and you should not be performing any motor work until you learn something, I recommend you spend the minimum of 6 months learning about the basics of an engine, and then progess into Forced Induction.... or you will be back on here with a "Why did my motor blow???" thread.

That is why i'm asking questions. How else would i learn?
I would not be doing the work on the motor but observing one of my friend mechanics.
How would you recommend I learn about these engines?

It's a b-16 94 civic is motor? vtec with custom headers and intake.

I really am clue less, but i appreciate those giving me feedback and not insults/

please get back on topic.

You need to get a mechanic to do the conversion or you can do it yourself. i think Koneri did it himself.
