The sucking up water has been covered throughout much discussion. Having a CAI is more likely to suck up water than a SRI, but unless you fully submerge it underwater or accelerate (increase throttle, sucking in more air) through a deep puddle it is unlikely you will pull in water. People also devise ways to lessen the risk of sucking up water, may making strategically placed holes in the piping. As for dirt in the motor, thats what filters are for, to screen out debris so nothing large enough can enter our engines and do damage.

A minor correction for you. Our vehicles only have one header.

THE BIG SUPRISE IS NEAR
JDM front end goes from 1400 to 2200. Its just depends what kind of package you get. Some people dont even swap the radiator support. All you need is the T-Bar. Some people get the SIR-G headlights which are also cheaper. Some people buy the fenders/hood beat up badly then repair it. So theres different ways to cut corners.

As far as installing it. Minor welding skills and basic tools are needed. Nothing too crazy.

As far as going turbo. I would reccomend a T3/TO4E Small turbo that makes good power on low PSI. Its still sotck block friendly---- as long as you get a GOOD tuning device and a good tuner. I reccomend
Hondata s300.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

There is only one OEM JDM front end conversion. The others are aftermarket bumpers.

94 acura integra rs fully loaded and lots of mods...7400

or stock 2005 dodge srt-4 for 10k>?

i think the acura would be faster and cheaper but the srt would be more reliable as a daily driver>?

No offence but you are about as clueless as they come and you should not be performing any motor work until you learn something, I recommend you spend the minimum of 6 months learning about the basics of an engine, and then progess into Forced Induction.... or you will be back on here with a "Why did my motor blow???" thread.

prices very a lot. Broken shitty bumpers are a lot cheaper then the new ones. OEM HID lights cost a leg. Make sure you know what you knowcwhat you getting yourself into before buying anything. Jdm fronts only really have one real difference between the years and it is head lights. Crome, black and HID black.
