www.jgycustoms.com but then they sent it out to JWT?? Some Jim Wolf guy's shop who is "tuning" the ecu. To be completely honest i hate the fact that were relying on what is pretty much a basemap computer. No dyno tuning here and that bothers me. It's getting real frustrating though that i don't have the ecu yet. Apparently JGY keeps saying that JWT isn't done with it yet? I can't see how it's been like 3 weeks.
I was just curious. I was going to say you should ship it straight to JWT. They are the best of the best with Nissan ECU's. I think they proved that back in the day when they claimed to have the ECU's COMPLETELY cracked. They backed up that statement by tuning a turbo B18C......................... tuning it with an SR20DE ECU!

Damn that's pretty cool...well you just made me feel a lot better about how the tune will be for this car. It's just a matter of it getting to us now. Should have been in our hands a week ago or at least shipped out.

There was probably a lot of wasted time in transit. I sent my SR20DET ECU straight to JWT. I took about a week and a half to 2 weeks, of course there is 2 or 3 days in transit each day for shipping. It went out for a base map tune for Blitz 850cc injectors, Walbro pump and 300zx TT MAF. I'll work on the final tune later with the Apexi Power FC.

JWT is very good with Nissans though.

Were pretty spoiled in the Honda scene. Ordered my S300 last week and it will be here and running my car...later today. Can't wait to see a few more boxes from JWT getting used for spills as soon as possible...

Brian is gunna cut my Tach in the morning. The DM-100 will be all tucked in by this afternoon hopefully. If your not busy tonight Dan we can tinker around with S300. Just let me know.

Hello everyone. Dan and I go back a few years when cars naturally took our interest. These side jobs are result of both of us wanted a little extra cash flow. Anyone in the SE WI is welcome to contact us if you have something you want done. I loved this laid back type of forum and I'm looking forward to help keeping it going strong..

Here's my first contribution for it =].

WOW it's been a while. Sorry I've been so damn busy I didn't even post up what happened. So we finally got the ecu last friday along with the ic piping and the solid front mount. After a very long friday night (2:30am) we got all the ic piping on and fabbed what we needed. Saturday morning we finished up what we needed and fired it up. Engine started right up but we noticed a miss. To make a long story short we traced the miss to cylinder number 3 injector. The injector was sticking open and flooding the cylinder. So getting disappointed, we swapped two injectors to see if the problem would carry over to the next cylinder just to confirm. Well from us swapping the injector over we must have jarred it enough to fix it. Engine fired right up and purred like a kitten ;) So we ran a few heat cycles and took it out for a cruise. Engine felt really good...tune was solid with lots of power. Very conservative though on full boost (8.5psig) the AFR's were around 10.5-10.7 or so. Boost comes on quick with the T-25 hooked up to a 3" exhaust and a front mount. Boost would spool up instantly shortly after 2000 rpms. So after we were happy with it we called the owner up and he took his car home. What sucks is that we worked so hard that weekend to get the car done and in working order i didn't take any updated pics. :( I will see the car again soon and i will get some pics and video.

Sorry for the book but I think some will be interested :thumbs up

Those AFR's are a little rich aren't they? Good to hear that everything came together nicely. Can't wait to see pics of the install.

yea i agree but there's nothing we can do about them. The ecu was chipped by Jim Wolf it's not like we can adjust some tables real quick lol. The car didn't hesitate or buck throughout the powerband so better to be rich than lean right?
