Engine Bay PICS!- i need your input!!! and PICS!

hey guys. i bought my first car about two weeks ago. its still not on the road im just making sure everythings in good working order. i opened my hood and saw this......

i need some help. i want to paint it so bad it hurts my eyes. but i dont know what color paint or anything to do. if you guys could post some pics of your engine bays i would realllllly appreciate it. im at a stand still right now.





oh and last time i posted on this forum i got like yelled at for not knowing the proper term for one of my parts. im sorry i dont know everything about cars im still learning. give me a break..

i'd take off the strut bar because it seems like it is putting some stress on some of your lines there.

Oem valve covers are black. Intakes are rubber, and are black.

Y is your bumper green like your valve cover? And Y is you fender purple and black? Seems like you might need much more then a simple repaint.

oh thats just the bar on top of the bumper holding it on. and the lines arent stressing. they have enough room and stuffff.

and i want something different thoughhhhh

the bumper is actually flat black on the front because the previous owner did a 00 front end swap

i dont think the strut is putting any pressure on the lines

you can paint your valve cover and intake. if you search there are a couple fourms on people doing theres

and you probably want to clean or replace that filter..looks mighty dirty

haha noooo the cars not that colooorrr haha i wouldnt have bought it at all. the fron clip is flat black(2000 swap) and the rest of the car is dark green
