This car has been meticulously cared for - washed and waxed weekly. A lot of effort has been put in by the previous owner to make it what it is today. Using a '96 shell, the car has been stripped and built from the ground up. The paintwork is in immaculate condition and is serviced every 5000ks, replacing all oils, fluids, oil filter and spark plugs. BP Ultimate has been used throughout its whole life and has been tuned by ProTek Automotive through the previous owner, having more torque than a standard Type R. This car combines exceptional performance with great fuel economy. It is only taken out on weekends as I catch public transport during the week.

RWC will be provided upon sale and there is nothing that needs to be done as it is in perfect condition. Timing belt, valves, water pump, rotors, tyres etc... have been changed within the last 5000ks and an inspection by an independent body is more than welcome.

Will come with 12 Months Registration.

Genuine interest only as I do not have a tolerance for time wasters. Please get your finances in order before inquiring. If you have any further queries or wish to arrange a time for inspection, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or via the mobile number provided below.

Sorry man sure doesn't look like it to me... Built Type R B18C7/B18A1 LSVTEC I hope that's a typo right??? If it ain't I'm guessing he meant C5 because real type r's come with B18C5s... never heard anything about a B18C7 before (correct me if I'm wrong here...), plus it's LSVTEC so basically he's using a LS block with a VTEC head... $13,000 for that tho, I wouldn't go for... with that kind of money I can find a decent true USDM type R around 60k-80k miles for that price rather than a replica unless it's a truely one of a kind car show winner... got any pics of this thing?

That and its not a 99. Its a 96 teg that he made look like a 99 type R. its a replica and a replica is not worth as much as the real thing. It sounds like a lot has been done but I dunno if its worth that much. Plus what dc2tegragsr said about the ls-vtec part.

That and seeing some pics would help. It all depends on how clean it is and how nice it looks.

So are you saying that everything about the car is a mock up, because im not to sure about the engines, but like what is the difference between the b18c7 and the b18c5 and the LSVTEC??

thanks for ur reply mate

Yeah that's what I'm saying. There's no such thing as a B18C7 that I've heard of and the real Type R's come with the B18C5 (Japan is simply B18C)... LSVTEC is when someone takes a regular Acura Integra LS (which is none VTEC) block and uses a VTEC head which in this way forces the engine becoming VTEC. Basically it's just a replica and can't really be referred to as a "Honda" Integra Type R without the JDM front when it still retains the US one... other than that just use your money towards a real, true, legit, non-replica, Type R. Hope that answers all =)

yeah, LS-VTEC, i dont know if anyone has or knew more about it. My buddy has one and it didn't last that long, because in my opinion honda engineers know better than "us". If it was that good of power they would had made it. with 13k you can do a lot with it. Get a decent shell, and build it with JDM type R B18c motor..... still have couple "G" in your pockets

First thing that jumps out if you know your stuff is color. R's only came in Championship White. Frost White was only available on Integras from 94-98.

Another thing that jumps out as a "joke" is listing things such as headlights, taillights, mirrors, etc as "Type-R." There is no such thing...these parts are general Integra parts, that all Integras recieved from the factory. These parts are the same across all models.

The B18C7 exists...please stop tossing incorrect info around if you haven't heard of it. Its an Australian Spec R motor.

- Power: 193 PS/189 hp (141 kW) @ 8200 rpm & 127 ft·lbf/172 N·m @ 7500 rpm

INCORRECT AS WELL. Majority of Europe's ITRs have the USDM circle-style headlights. They are badged as Hondas, NOT Acuras.

Hey it's cool it's just off by 2 numbers right? What big difference would it make? =)
Actually a big difference. No two B-series motors are the same. That's like saying the B18C1 and the B18C are the same cause one only has a number 1 after it.

A USDM B18C5 is pretty heavily restrictive compared to those outside of the states.

B18C5

* VTEC
* Found in: USDM DC2 Acura Integra Type-R
* Compression: 10.6:1
* Bore: 81 mm (3.189 in)
* Stroke: 87.2 mm (3.433 in)
* Rod Length: 137.9 mm (5.429 in)
* Rod/Stroke Ratio: 1.58
* Power: 195 hp @ 8200 rpm & 130 ft·lbf @ 7500 rpm
* Transmission: S80 w/LSD
* Vtec engagement @ 6,000 rpm

B18C7

* VTEC
* Found in: Australian Honda Integra Type-R
* Type: 1.8 litre 16v DOHC 4 cylinder in-line
* Displacement: 1,797 cc (109.7 cu in)
* Compression: 11.1:1
* Air intake diameter: 62 mm (2.4 in)
* Bore: 81 mm (3.189 in)
* Stroke: 87.2 mm (3.433 in)
* Rod Length: 137.9 mm (5.429 in)
* Rod/Stroke Ratio: 1.58
* Power: 190 PS/139 kW/200 hp (SAE net hp) (139 kW) @ 7900 rpm & 131 ft·lbf/178 N·m @ 7300 rpm
* Red-line: 9000 rpm
* Transmission: S80 w/LSD

As you can see, compression is different, as well as a higher redline (B18C7), and power output.
