i dont think theres a motor which can be street legal with 300whp...except the C series. But F series is too hard to gain hp...

Its not really about the "drop" its about having a suspension setup that will handle the power output. You put 300whp through stock suspension components and it wont feel like 300hp, and you'll likely have a nasty case of wheel hop.
ha i get that already in first gear and i only have a intake lol

Yeah. I get wheelhop in my Jetta, but that's because i've got bad motor & trans mounts. Are yours okay man? Could be a probable factor.

i say don't buy anything yet. Think about it hard. Picture you car finished. Do a lot of research then plan it down to the nuts and bolts. Then buy everything you need. Build towards your goal and don't take litle side tracks. Example: like buying an intake for now but you'll be turbo charging later. <-Waste of time and money.

I have hit a stroke of luck....I think?!?! my friends stepdad has a RSX and he got in a T-bone accident. Fortunaley he is fine. The only good thing about this is that he isn't going to salvage the car(he has like 2 other cars) and said that i can have the engine and tranny if I can take it out. Is it worth it to swap the engines and will i need new mounts?

If its a FREE motor and tranny then i say at least take them because if you dont use them you can still get good money for them

do you know if its a type-s or just a base model. not sure if its worth putting it in if its a k20a3 but for now, i agree with spending some money on suspension parts. dont spend money on engine mods unless you've decided what you want out of it.
